A married Howevalley mother of four indicted last year on a murder charge for a boyfriend’s shooting death pleaded guilty to lesser charges last week in Hardin Circuit Court as part of a plea deal.
Angie T. Ricketts, 32, agreed to a deal that gives her three more years to serve on a four-year sentence in exchange for her plea of guilt to a reckless homicide charge, a Class D felony.
Kentucky State Police detectives did not arrest Ricketts after she admitted to fatally shooting 37-year-old Eric West of Magnolia around lunchtime on Sept. 29, 2008.
