Friday’s pretrial hearing for Abdullah White and Samantha Kolley was postponed due to inclement weather, according to the Commonwealth Attorney’s office.
White’s attorney indicated he would not be driving from Frankfort, said Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Whitney Meredith.
White, 35, of Radcliff, has been indicted for the Dec. 30, 2011, murder of 28-year-old Kristie Lynne Allen. Other charges include first-degree burglary and complicity; two counts of tampering with physical evidence and complicity; receiving stolen property and complicity; and first-degree persistent felony offender.
Kolley, 19, of Elizabethtown, also faces charges related to Allen’s death including second-degree burglary and complicity; two counts of tampering with physical evidence and complicity; receiving stolen property and complicity; and hindering prosecution or apprehension in the first degree.
The hearing was rescheduled for Feb. 18 in LaRue Circuit Court. The State will file motions to consolidate trials and treat the proceedings as a death penalty case, Meredith said.
