Volunteers recognized by L.A.C.E. Council

Local volunteers were recognized by the LaRue County Literacy Adult Community Education Council. Each year, the council awards individuals who have given generously to the community.

Renee Skaggs received the Judy Cox Community Spirit Award. Skaggs is involved in the community and a volunteer at Hodgenville Elementary School.

Jill Gray received the Community Education Service Award. Gray has worked countless hours with school groups and individuals on recycling projects.
