An Upton man has been sentenced to 15 years after pleading guilty to manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine.
Barry Cottrell, 52, was charged with the crimes after a social worker visited his home on Wonderland Road in August 2008 and reported a possible meth lab to the LaRue County Sheriff’s Department. The social worker was trying to locate a Hart County child when she made the discovery.
When officers arrived, they found components and ingredients used to manufacture the illegal drug strewn about the yard.
