Unemployment rates rose in 102 Kentucky counties between February 2009 and February 2010, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
LaRue County bucked the trend as the unemployment rate was 12.2 percent in February 2010, down from 12.9 percent in 2009. It was an increase over the January 2010 rate of 11.4 percent.
Of 7,234 civilian labor force, 886 are unemployed.
