Two people were injured Friday afternoon at the Wesley Meadows Church crossroads in a motor vehicle accident.

Nathaniel D. Patterson, 23, of Hodgenville, was driving a 1993 Buick LeSabre Limited on N. L&N Turnpike about 4:45 p.m. Patterson told investigating officer, Deputy Robby Brownfield, he didn’t come to a complete stop and pulled into the path of a 2002 Buick Century Custom driven by Brieta J. Puryear, 17, of Hodgenville.

Puryear was traveling west on Campbellsville Road. Both vehicles had severe front-end damage.

Patterson and Puryear were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by LaRue County EMS.

Patterson was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.
