Trip planned to Amish Country

A trip to Montgomery, Ind., Amish Country, is being planned for Dec. 11.

Hodgenville resident Stephen A. Brown is organizing the all-day bus trip. An Amish or Mennonite guide will offer insight to the community. Four or five farms will be visited to see furniture making, quilt making and preserving and canning. A sit-down meal with a local family is included.

The bus fare and lunch expense is $60. If you are interested in making the trip, contact Brown at 270-307-0150.
