A trial date has been set for a former LaRue County deputy jailer facing 11 counts of felony theft in Indiana.

Jennie McGee, 46, of Falls of Rough was arrested on fugitive charges by Kentucky State Police at her workplace Feb. 8.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges and will be tried by jury Oct. 12, according to Perry County, Ind., court documents. Two days have been reserved for the trial. Pre-trial conference is Sept. 9.

The charges stem from a 2005 investigation by a Perry County detective. Court records show McGee’s former employer Comcast Cable reported an internal theft of about $5,300 that September.

LaRue County Jailer Mac Trumbo said McGee’s duties “were purely administrative.”

McGee has prior work experience at the Grayson County and Breckinridge County jails and the Breckinridge County judge’s office, according to Trumbo.
