The LaRue County Early Childhood Council sponsored training for local child-care providers on Nov. 1 at the Extension Office.
Training topics included sessions on activity plans- this is a new licensing requirement for each classroom, and learning centers taught by Karen Hellman, STARS Quality Coordinator. The afternoon session covered working with special needs children, such as those with autism was presented by Lisa Sallee.
