Traffic backed up on I-65 due to crash

 Traffic on Interstate 65 near Sonora may be delayed due to traffic and a wreck.

Construction has the right lane closed; a tractor trailer has crashed into several yards of cable barrier on approach to the queue of the lane closure.  With both situations simultaneously, traffic is backed to milepost 75 near Upton.  Work is going on through the night in this work zone. 

It will likely be two-to-three hours for this queue to clear out, according to Chris Jessie, public information officer for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Approximate delay is 2O minutes for northbound travelers.
