TOUCHPOINTS: Don't let sin control you

Do not let sin control the way you live.

Could it be to some that they believe a certain sin is OK as long as no one knows about it? You may
believe if it is kept secret or private no one will ever know what you are hiding. Sin attacks the will and the soul, here and there, until we are deadened to what it is doing in our lives.

Sin, like an addiction, becomes a power that seeks to take over. Our lives are drawn into this sinful way.
Satan will disguise himself as a cunning, clever, creature that tempts, as he did to Eve in the Garden of Eden. Sin is referred to as a cancer that eats at a person's heart and soul making them dead to the ways of God.
Nothing will be hidden forever, as the Bible says; "Be sure your sin will find you out". (Numbers 32:23). Chastisement is certain to come. "Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. For all our days are passed away in thy wrath".

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. (Psalm 90:9,10,12). Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy, for it is time to seek the Lord.
