Two juveniles and an adult will be cited for the recent rash of road sign thefts and vandalism in the Roanoke area.
LaRue County Sheriff Bobby Shoffner told magistrates before their business meeting Tuesday at the courthouse in Hodgenville that a phoned-in tip led to the impending arrests.
“After receiving the call, we investigated and found two signs across the road from one of the juveniles,” Shoffner said.
The thefts and vandalism have cost the county several hundred dollars in repairs and replacement.
