Clocks returned to standard time today.
The official "fall back" shift occurred at 2 a.m. Sunday with the end of daylight-saving time. In order to be on the appropriate time, turn your clocks back one hour as an hour of daylight shifts to the morning and the sun will set in late afternoon.
Firefighters also remind the public to take this opportunity to check smoke detectors and put fresh batteries in the life-saving devices in your homes and businesses.
