Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Campbellsville Road about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 30.
Shelbi R. Miles, 18, of Louisville, was driving a 2003 Kia west on KY 210 when the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2002 Ford F150 driven by Richard D. Cundiff, 45, of Louisville.
According to LaRue County Deputy Matt Darst, Cundiff tried to avoid the collision by driving off the roadway.
Miles’ car spun around and came to rest facing east in the eastbound lanes. Cundiff’s truck spun around and came to rest facing north in the eastbound lane. Severe damage was done to both vehicles.
Both drivers and a passenger in Cundiff’s vehicle, Greg Cundiff, 48, of Louisville, were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by LaRue County EMS. The Cundiffs were treated and released.
Miles was flown to University Hospital in Louisville.
The roadway was reopened about 6:30 p.m.
