Three indicted by Nelson grand jury

The following people have been indicted by a Nelson County grand jury. They were arraigned in Nelson Circuit Court Aug. 4.
• Timothy Keith Johnson, 29, New Haven, first-degree fleeing and evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, first-degree persistent felony offender. On or about March 4, Johnson allegedly attempted to prevent Trooper Kevin Davis from arresting him by using or threatening physical force or violence. Johnson was previously convicted of second-degree rape and first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $9,500 cash only, plus conditions.
• Ronnie Dale Nally, 32, New Haven, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, fourth offense, possession of an open container in a vehicle, reckless driving. The alleged offense occurred June 8. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.
The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and the person is innocent until and unless proven guilty.
