Five people have been killed in flooding caused by a strong storm system that swept through most of Kentucky over the weekend, authorities said Sunday.
The bodies of three people were pulled Sunday morning from Pottinger Creek near New Hope in Nelson County after their vehicle was swept away in flood waters.
The deceased have been identified as Don Paul Allen, 61, of Raywick; Chris Gray, 51, of Campbellsville; and the driver, Cindy Newberry, 36, of Gravel Switch.
