LaRue County Track and Field athletes competed Thursday in the Class 2-A, Region 2 Meet. Two advanced to the State contest.
The Lady Hawks placed fifth with 48 points.
Junior Alisha Durbin won the 100 hurdles and long jump, was third in the 300s and helped LaRue County to a fourth-place finish in the 1,600 relay.
“I felt great all night,” she said. “I still can’t believe I got two. It’s amazing. My coaches have really helped me out. Coach (Drew) Simpson has made me better.”
