Thelma F. Loyall Walters, 88, of Linwood, passed away, Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Woodland Terrance Nursing Home in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of the Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church in Hammonsville, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clarence Walters; four sisters, Edith Kessler, Lillian Cruse, Nettie Turner and Ethel Owens; and three brothers, Lively Loyall, Verner Loyall and Otis Loyall.
She is survived by a daughter, Lucille (Donald) Wilkerson of Madison, Ala.; three sons, Wayne (Betty) Walters of Elizabethtown, Bobby M. Walters of Louisville and Ben Walters of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger McGuffin officiating. Burial will follow in Hammonsville Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia.
