A Taylorsville woman died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Bardstown Road.
Amy C. Parks, 28, was driving a 2000 Ford Escort north on U.S. 31E, just south of Peak Road, when the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle almost head-on.
Parks was “laying on the ground beside the car” when officers arrived, said LaRue County Sheriff Bobby Shoffner. However, he believes she was wearing a seatbelt while driving and was not ejected from the vehicle.
