A Frankfort man sought for questioning by local officers was charged May 30 with use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Constable Tim Ford, 41-year-old Raymond L. Eastman was questioned as part of an ongoing investigation concerning thefts in the Buffalo area. A background check on Eastman turned up a parole violation on a trafficking charge in Arkansas.
Eastman was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center and arraigned Wednesday in LaRue District Court. He pleaded guilty to the drug paraphernalia charge. He was fined $383 and sentenced to 10 days, suspended and probated for two years.
He will be extradited to Arkansas to face the parole violation charge.
