The Sunrise Manor Volunteers fall semi-annual meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
Plan to attend and sign the list by the volunteer sign-in board or notify Kathy Cooper at 358-3103. The business meeting will follow a meal prepared by the Sunrise Manor kitchen staff.
There are suggested changes in the constitution and bylaws which will be brought up for a vote.
The installation of officers elected in the spring meeting will held. They are secretary, Jim Kessler; treasurer, Wanda West; assistant treasurer, Jackie Bradley; and historian, Mary Smith. Service awards for volunteer service hours will also be presented.
Membership dues will be collected: active members, $5; sustaining members, $10. All membership dues are used for the benefit of Sunrise Manor residents.
Program Chairwoman Ruth Ann Brown has invited Eddie Black to present a program after the meeting.
Contact Kathy Cooper at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home to become a volunteer. All it requires is time.
The Sunrise Volunteer Honor Guard is available to attend funerals for deceased Sunrise Manor residents and volunteers, that are held in LaRue County, by contacting the funeral directors.
The next Sunrise Volunteer executive board meeting will be 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at Sunrise Manor.
