Sunrise Volunteers executive board meets

 The executive board of Sunrise Manor Volunteers met Feb. 5.

The meeting was called to order by President Rita Smith. Also present were Ruth Ann Brown, LaDean Self, Peggy Edwards, Tickle Ragland, Sally Rineker and Emogene Gardner.

Minutes were approved and treasury report was given by Edwards. Brown reported four funerals with 53 volunteers in attendance.

The semi-annual meeting will be 6:30 p.m. April 23. The meal will be provided by Sunrise Manor.

Edwards, Ragland and Gardner were appointed to the nominating committee to fill offices of president, first vice president and second vice president.

Rineker reminded everyone to sanitize hands before visiting residents due to it being flu season. Sanitizer is available at the front desk.

The next board meeting is 2 p.m. May 14.
