Subway restaurant opening in New Haven

A new Subway restaurant will open in New Haven Thursday.

The Subway, a chain sandwich restaurant, will open inside the Hometown IGA grocery store at 132 S. Main Street.

According to Joe Joiner of Houchens Industries, holder company for Subway, the new restaurant will be open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.

The restaurant is likely to celebrate its opening with a possible ceremony in the next eight weeks, according to Joiner.
