Throughout 2009, History and Outback Steakhouse are celebrating Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday by participating in an initiative entitled “Give a Lincoln for Lincoln.” The program, which was kicked off with the LaRue County visit by former first lady Laura Bush last November, is in association with the National Park Foundation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation and aims to encourage Americans of all ages to help preserve six key sites associated with Lincoln’s life and legacy.
