Students compete in SkillsUSA

Nineteen students from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, including two from LaRue County, will compete in the Kentucky State SkillsUSA competition for students in technical programs.

Daniel “Scott” Wheeler of Sonora will compete in industrial motor control.

William Felker of Mt. Sherman will compete in welding.   

The competition was April 8-10 at the Exposition Center in Louisville. Winners at the state level will compete at national competition at Kansas City, Mo., in June.
