On May 31, students and their families from the second grade classes at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School celebrated the unveiling of the quilt, they designed and made from their Teacher Initiated Project (TIP) Grant. Students not only learned the art of tie-dying, but studied how quilts were forms of narrative functional art.
