People across the state are joining together Oct. 11 to improve health and physical activity.
Sponsored by UK Cooperative Extension Service, 103 counties have activities planned in the Second Sunday program. Locally, the event will be at 2 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Boyhood Home at Knob Creek. Park rangers will lead walks on the unpaved open field area or up the overlook trail. Walkers will receive UK incentive items and T-shirts while supplies last. Bring water and insect repellent.
