Chili supper and cornhole tournament fundraiser
The LaRue County Middle School wrestling team will host a fundraiser beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at LaRue County Park and Recreation. A chili supper is $5. A double-elimination cornhole tournament will be held at 7 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. Entry fee is $20 per team. Youth softball registration
LaRue County youth softball registration is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 11, 18 and 25 and 1-3 p.m. Feb. 26 at LaRue County Park and Recreation. League is for girls 6U to 16U. For more information, contact Greg Cooper at gregcooper21@gmail.com.
Youth baseball signups
Youth baseball signups for ages 3-15 as of April 30 will be held on the following dates at LaRue County Park and Recreation: 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 11, 18 and 25; and 2-4 p.m. Feb. 26. There will not be a wiener league later in the spring so ages 3-4 should sign up during February. Bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Wrestling Regional Tourney
The LCHS Mat Hawks will compete in the Regional Wrestling Tournament Feb. 11 in Danville. Wrestling begins at 8 a.m. Top wrestlers will compete in the State Tournament Feb. 17-18 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
Cheerleaders compete at Nationals
LaRue County High School’s varsity cheerleaders compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championship at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando Feb. 11-12. The nationally televised event (ESPN) will have more than 200 cheerleading squads competing.
Last home basketball games
The Lady Hawks will play their last home game 6 p.m. Feb. 10 against Taylor County. The Hawks play their last home game 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 against Marion County.
Cheerleaders compete at State KAPOS
The LaRue County High School cheerleaders will compete at KAPOS State Feb. 18 in Diddle Arena, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green. The afternoon session begins at 3.
Band Boosters hold Bunco fundraiser
The LaRue County High School Band of Hawks Boosters will hold a bunco fundraiser 6 p.m. Feb. 18 at the LCHS cafeteria. $10 to play. For more information, contact Heather Johnson at 270-300-1200.
Youth Soccer League needs supplies, volunteers
The LaRue County Youth Soccer field at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School needs prep work including top soil, seed and straw. If you have a tractor and grader box and are willing to donate your time, contact Heather Cook at 270-766-8959 or h.cook69@yahoo.com.
The goal is to have all work completed by March 1.

The 5th Regional Basketball Tournaments will be Feb. 27-March 3 (boys) and Feb. 29-March 6 (girls). The girls’ tournament is at Central Hardin High School.
Golf Scramble
