Youth Soccer League needs supplies and volunteers
The LaRue County Youth Soccer field at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School needs prep work including top soil, seed and straw. If you have a tractor and grader box and are willing to donate your time, contact Heather Cook at 270-766-8959 or h.cook69@yahoo.com.
The goal is to have all work completed by March 1.
Girls Region Tournament
The 5th Region Girls Basketball Tournament will be played through March 3 at Central Hardin High School. Championship is 7 p.m. March 3.
Boys Region Tournament
The 5th Region Boys Basketball Tournament will be played Feb. 29, March 1, 5 and 6 at Central Hardin High School. Games are at 6 and 8 p.m. Championship is 7 p.m. March 6.
The Hawks play their first game 6 p.m. Feb. 29 against Taylor County. Tickets are $7.
Higher seed will be the home team and wear white. Central Hardin will be the home team on the scoreboard when playing.
Lincoln Area Longbeards Banquet
The Lincoln Area Longbeards Hunting Heritage Banquet will be March 24 at LaRue County Middle School. Only 180 tickets will be sold and are available by calling Charlie Wootton at 270-234-6289 or Louie Payne at 270-766-4241. There will be a regular and silent auction and raffle items.
Golf Scramble

LCHS Band Boosters meet
