Hunter’s Education Class
The Lincoln Area Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is sponsoring A Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Hunter’s Education Class. There is no charge for the 12-hour class. It meets 6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 3; 6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 4; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 5. Classes will be held at the Arrowhead Archery Building, 1196 Knob School House Road, Sonora. Lane Lincoln hosts cornhole tournament

Region Cross Country
The region cross country meet is Nov. 5 in Bowling Green.

Little League Basketball signups
LaRue County boys basketball little league signups will be 9-11 a.m. Nov. 5 at the LaRue County High School cafeteria and 6-8 p.m. Nov. 8 at the LCHS gym. Forms will be passed out at local schools and will be available on day of signups. Divisions include kindergarten-first grades, second and third grades; and fourth; fifth; and sixth grades. Softball coaching and player clinic
