Big Brothers Big Sisters super hero family fun run
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana’s super hero family fun run is Sept. 28 at Freeman Lake Park in Elizabethtown. Teams can consist of two adults and up to three children or one adult and up to three children. For information, call 270-351-2220 or visit www.superherofamilyfunrun.com.
Run for Life
USA Cares will hold Run for Life (5K, 10K) 7:30 a.m. Sept. 28 at North Hardin High School, 801 S. Logsdon Parkway, Radcliff. Proceeds benefit military families.
Walk in the Park at Mammoth Cave
Mammoth Cave National Park will hold a Walk in the Park 9 a.m. Sept. 28. The four-mile hike is a fundraiser in support of Park programs and projects. Registration is $15 for adults and $5 for youth under age 12. Log onto www.friendsofmammothcave.org for event registration and T-shirt orders.

Jack Mitchell Invitational
The LaRue County High School Cross Country Team will sponsor the Jack Mitchell Invitational on Oct. 1. Campbellsville and Fort Knox teams will compete.
Football Homecoming is 8 p.m. Oct. 4 against Russell County.
The Lincoln Days Railsplitter Run will be Sunday, Oct. 6. The one-mile run and walk begins at 1:30 p.m. The 5K begins at 2:15 p.m. Entry fee is $15 in advance or $20 day of race. Late registration will be taken from noon until 1 p.m. day of race. T-shirts will be given to entrants while supplies last; and ribbons or certificates will be provided to all finishers. HMH Run for Fun
Hardin Memorial Health will sponsor a 5K Run for Fun 9 a.m. Nov. 9 at Freeman Lake Park, Elizabethtown. Race is chip timed for accuracy. Register at www.hmh.net. Free long-sleeved T-shirt for pre-registered participants.
