SOCCER: Lady Hawks prepare for district

 18TH DISTRICT GIRLS' SOCCER TOURNAMENT AT MARION COUNTY. LaRue County is a victory away Wednesday night from the first region tournament berth in the program’s six-year existence.

The second-seeded Lady Hawks (5-7-2, 2-1-1) meet the third-seeded Hart County Lady Raiders (7-4, 1-2) in the late semifinal at 8. LaRue County beat the Lady Raiders, 6-2 on Aug. 27 in Munfordville. Junior Shelbi Brooks and sophomore Rachel Wolf each had three goals and one assist for the Lady Hawks.
