Sheriff's office audited for year ending Dec. 31, 2011

 The Auditor of Public Accounts has completed the LaRue County Sheriff Bobby Shoffner's audit for the year ended Dec. 31, 2011.

The audit found excess fees increased by $9,969 from the prior year, resulting in excess fees of $13,714 at year’s end. Revenues increased by $15,949 from the prior year and expenditures increased by $5,980.

The audit found the Sheriff’s operating expenses exceeded the amount fixed by LaRue Fiscal Court.
