Seymour has shot at state

After day one of the regional tennis tournament, LaRue County girls ranked third in the standings.

Freshman Michelle Seymour, who was seeded fourth in singles competition, won her match Wednesday with  seventh-seeded Central Hardin seventh-grader Hannah Thomas. The straight set victory went 6-1, 6-2.

Seymour competes today in the semifinal round at University Drive Park in Elizabethtown.
