Several people were indicted April 21 by a LaRue County grand jury.
Jason Gabriel Brangers (1977) of Hodgenville, was charged with two counts of theft by deception and being a second-degree persistent felony offender.
He is accused of obtaining property of another by passing checks in the amounts of $1,650 and $850 from a closed account. The alleged offenses occurred in November 2013.
Bail was set at $5,000 cash only upon condition of dusk-to-dawn curfew, no violation of the penal code and no communication with employees of Lincoln National Bank.
