Several indicted in April by grand jury

Several people were indicted April 16 by a LaRue County grand jury.
They are:
Johnny Wood (1951) of Upton was indicted on one count of manufacturing methamphetamine and complicity; two counts of possession of a controlled substance and complicity; possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity; and possession of prescription not in a proper container and complicity.
The alleged offenses occurred March 29. He is accused of acting alone or in concert with Coleman Ferriss.
Bond remained the same as set in district court. He is ordered to have no communication with Ferriss.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Coleman Ferriss (1968) of Upton was indicted on one count of manufacturing methamphetamine and complicity; two counts of possession of a controlled substance and complicity; possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity; and possession of prescription not in a proper container and complicity.
The alleged offenses occurred March 29. He is accused of acting alone or in concert with Johnny Wood.
Bond remained the same as set in district court. He is ordered to have no communication with Wood.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office investigated
Marshall Dillon Miller (1993) of Upton was indicted on two counts of trafficking in marijuana and one count of complicity, possession of firearm while committing an offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity, possession of marijuana and complicity and possession of firearm.
He is accused of unlawfully possessing marijuana with the intent to sell either alone or in concert with Jackie Miller. The alleged offenses occurred April 6.
Bail was set at $9,500 cash only upon condition of no communication with Jackie Miller.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Jackie Allen Miller (1964) of Upton was indicted on two counts of trafficking in marijuana and one count of complicity, possession of firearm while committing an offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity, possession of marijuana and complicity and possession of firearm.
He is accused of unlawfully possessing marijuana with the intent to sell either alone or in concert with Marshall Miller. The alleged offenses occurred April 6.
Bond remained the same as set in district court upon condition of no communication with Marshall Miller.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Christopher L. Ferguson (1979) of Vine Grove was indicted on one count each of first-degree possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree persistent felony offender.
The alleged offenses occurred March 25.
He was previously convicted of intimidating a participant in a legal process and flagrant nonsupport.
Bond remains the same as set in district court.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
Jimmy Dale Keene (1977) of Elizabethtown was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking.
He is accused of taking a steel ripper attachment belonging to Sands Construction valued between $500 and $10,000. The alleged offense occurred between Dec. 12, 2011 and Feb. 10, 2012.
Bond was set at $5,000 cash only and no contact with alleged victim.
The LaRue County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Jeffery L. Purdam (1977) of Magnolia was indicted on one count each of first-degree promoting contraband and second-degree persistent felony offender.
Purdam is accused of introducing drugs into the LaRue County Detention Center on March 13.
He has previous convictions of complicity, cultivating marijuana; complicity, possession of drug paraphernalia; and complicity, possession of marijuana, according to the indictment.
Bail was set at $9,500 cash only upon condition of dusk to dawn curfew.
Hodgenville City Police investigated.
Glenda Hester (1948) of Hodgenville was indicted on one count of knowingly abuse or neglect of adult by person.
She is accused of exploiting another person by using their money without lawful permission. The alleged offense occurred between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2010.
Kentucky State Police investigated.
Bond was set at $5,000 cash only plus condition of no contact with alleged victim.
Megan Brea Wilson (1987) of Central City was indicted on one count of flagrant nonsupport.
She is accused of persistently failing to provide support resulting in an arrearage of $1,622.53 between Jan. 1, 2011 and April 13, 2012.
Bail was set at $2,500 cash only.
The Division of Child Support investigated.
Harold Thomas Jones Jr. (1972) of Sonora was indicted on one count of flagrant nonsupport.
He is accused of persistently failing to provide support resulting in an arrearage of $5,609.79. The alleged offense occurred between March 5, 2010 and March 1, 2012.
Bail was set at $5,000 cash only.
The Division of Child Support investigated.
Nayland Dundee English (1980) of Louisville was indicted on one count each of flagrant nonsupport and first-degree persistent felony offender.
He is accused of persistently failing to provide support resulting in an arrearage of $6,445.41 between Feb. 1, 2011 and Sept. 9, 2011.
He has previous convictions of possession of a controlled substance, fraudulent use of credit cards, assault and wanton endangerment.
Bail was set at $5,000 cash only.
The Division of Child Support investigated.
Nayland Dundee English (1980) of Louisville was indicted on one count each of flagrant nonsupport and first-degree persistent felony offender.
He is accused of persistently failing to provide support resulting in an arrearage of $11,381.08 between Dec. 2, 2008 and Sept. 9, 2011.
Arraignment is set for May 7 in LaRue Circuit Court.
The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and the person is innocent unless and until proven guilty.
