LaRue County Schools United Way campaign this fall raised $6,425.65, more than doubling last year’s total and breaking the record for total contributions and number of donors (117).
Vicki Devers, the district’s community education director and campaign chairperson, coordinated the campaign with Superintendent Sam Sanders who serves on the United Way’s board of directors.
The district’s certified and classified employees gave through payroll deductions starting in January.
