With temperatures regularly falling below freezing in January and February each year, the likelihood of school being canceled because of bad weather increases.
Making that decision is not an easy call, especially for this part of Kentucky where one end of the county may be experiencing freezing rain while another section may have only rain – or no precipitation at all.
