Wee Time back in action Jan. 5
Hodgenville Elementary School will host Wee Time 9-10:30 a.m. Jan. 5 with the letter P, shape, circle and color, white. Wee Time is a free preschool program for ages 2-4. For more information, call Melissa Pearman at 358-3506 or Machelle Durham at 358-4112.
Kindergarten Here I Come returns Jan. 4
Hodgenville Elementary School will hold “Kindergarten Here I Come” 9-10 a.m. Jan. 4 for students who will start school at HES next year. Parents should attend. The session will focus on shapes, numbers and colors. For more information, call Melissa Pearman or Sue Osborne at 358-3506.
The KMEA Children’s All-State Chorus, including nine LaRue students, will perform 5:15 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.
LaRue County Reads needs volunteers
Volunteer to tutor a child in reading for one-half hour each week at one of the local schools. Volunteers must attend a short training class. The next training will be 11 a.m. Jan. 6 at the Board of Education. Training will last about one hour.
