First day

Aug. 7 – First day for students

ALES
ALES site-based council

The ALES site-based decision-making council will meet at 5:35 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the school’s conference room. Future dates are Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12 and June 9. For more information, call the school at 358-4112.

HES
Kindergarten events

Kindergarten Launch is 9-11 a.m. July 30 in the HES cafeteria. Kindergarten parent meeting is 6-7 p.m. July 30 in the HES gym.

Family Resource Center Advisory Council
The Hodgenville Family Resource Center Advisory Council will meet at noon July 30 in the HES conference room. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, contact Melissa Pearman at 358-3506.

LCHS
Registration

Registration for all LaRue County High School students is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. July 26.

Freshman orientation
Freshman orientation is 6-7:30 p.m. July 30 at LCHS. Students and parents can tour the school and meet teachers 6-6:45 p.m.; students and parents meet in auditorium with administration to learn about the upcoming school year and expectations 6:45-7:30 p.m.

Open House
Open house for LCHS is 6-8 p.m. Aug. 20.

LCMS
Immunizations needed

Incoming sixth-graders will need a new immunization form and physical to start middle school.
 
Registration
LaRue County Middle School registration for the upcoming school year is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. July 26 in the LCMS Library.

LCMS site-based council
The LCMS site-based council meets at 4:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. For more information, call the school at 358-3196.

OTHER
Goodwill donations

Hodgenville Family Resource Center has signed up LaRue County schools for the Goodwill Agency Assistance Program.

Drop items at the Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Campbellsville or Bardstown Goodwill stores. The Hodgenville Family Resource Center will give out Agency Assistance Shopping Vouchers to LaRue County families in need.
