LCMS
Pajama Drive at LaRue County Middle School
LaRue County Middle School is holding a pajama drive through Dec. 14. Bring pajamas for ages newborn through adult to the LCMS front office lobby. Pajamas must be new and a complete set – either a top and bottom, onesie or appropriate nightgown. Donated pajamas will be distributed to local children in need and those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Churches, banks, businesses and individuals are invited to participate with students. Monetary donations are appreciated. Checks can be made out to LCMS and dropped off or mailed to 911 S. Wee Time
Abraham Lincoln Elementary School will host Wee Time 9-10:30 a.m. Dec. 6. The color is white. Hodgenville Elementary School will host the Dec. 13 program and the color is red.

Kindergarten Here I Come – biweekly
“Kindergarten Here I Come” helps students prepare for kindergarten. The free session is 9-10:30 a.m. Dec. 12 at Hodgenville Elementary School. The themes are rhyming, reviewing shapes and colors and letters K-L. The next session is Jan. 9. Parents should attend. KHIC is sponsored by Family Resource Centers, Kids Crew Plus and United Way. God’s Favorite
The play, “God’s Favorite,” will be presented 7 p.m. Dec. 14 and 15; and 2 p.m. Dec. 16 in the LaRue County High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 for the evening shows and $15 for the Sunday matinee which includes lunch. Tickets are available at the door or from the LCHS Speech and Drama Club.
Proficiency Reports
LaRue County School Board meetings will be 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at LCMS; Jan. 21 – ALES; and Feb. 18 – HES. Each school will present its proficiency report at the meeting.
Goodwill donations
Hodgenville Family Resource Center has signed LaRue County schools up for the Goodwill Agency Assistance Program.
