The last day of school for students is June 4. Graduation is June 6.
ALES site-based council
The ALES site-based decision-making council will meet at 5:35 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the school’s conference room. Future dates are April 14, May 12 and June 9. For more information, call the school at 270-358-4112.
LCMS site-based council
The LCMS site-based council meets at 4:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month.For more information, call the school at 270-358-3196.
The LCHS prom is April 12. In addition to voting a prom king and queen, students will be voting for superlatives (cutest couple, best dressed, best dancer).
The LCHS senior trip is April 24-28.
Senior group photo
The LCHS senior group photo will be taken May 22 at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park.
LCHS baccalaureate is June 1.
LCHS graduation is June 6.
Hodgenville Elementary School will host Wee Time 9-10:30 a.m. April 10. The color is orange. Abraham Lincoln Elementary School will host the April 17 program. The color is purple. Wee Time is a free preschool program for ages 2-4 sponsored by Family Resource Centers, Kids Crew Plus and United Way. Kindergarten Here I Come – biweekly
“Kindergarten Here I Come” helps students prepare for kindergarten. The free session is 9-10:30 a.m. April 19 at Hodgenville Elementary School. The themes are rhyming, sight words and colors. Breakfast with a bunny
Saint Catherine Academy in New Haven will host “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” 9-11 a.m. April 5 in the school cafeteria. There will be donuts, drinks, crafts and a door prize. Donations will be accepted. For more information, call 502-549-3680 or go to www.stcatherineacademy.net.
Hodgenville Family Resource Center has signed up LaRue County schools for the Goodwill Agency Assistance Program.
When you donate textiles, shoes and other clothing and accessories to Goodwill, inform them that it is for LaRue County schools. The Family Resource Centers and Youth Service Center will receive 11.5 cents per pound and you will also receive a receipt for tax purposes.
Drop items at the Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Campbellsville or Bardstown Goodwill stores. The Hodgenville Family Resource Center will give out Agency Assistance Shopping Vouchers to LaRue County families in need.
