ALL SCHOOLS

Aug. 5 – First day of school

LCHS

Registration

Registration for all LCHS students is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. July 22 at the LCHS media center. Be prepared to pay textbook fees of $60 and laptop fees of $20. Laptop fees may be paid up through fall break.

LCHS SBDM Meeting

LCHS will have a special called SBDM meeting 4:30 p.m. July 28 in the conference room. Meeting dates for the remainder of the year will be set.

Freshman orientation

LCHS freshman orientation will be 6-7:30 p.m. July 29. From 6 to 6:45 p.m., students and parents may tour the school and meet their teachers for the upcoming school year. From 6:45 to 7:30 p.m., students and parents will go to the auditorium to meet with the LCHS administrative staff to discuss the upcoming school year, expectations, what students and parents need to know and answer any questions.

Open House

Open house for all LCHS students is 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 17. For more information, call the school at 358-2210.

ALES

Kindergarten Launch

Kindergarten Launch for all 2010-11 kindergarten students and their families is 9 a.m.-noon July 29 at ALES. Students follow mock schedule, have lunch and parents participate in informational sessions including bus pick up and school procedures. For more information, contact the school at 358-4112.

HES

Kindergarten Launch

HES Kindergarten Launch will be 9-11 a.m. Aug. 3. Kindergarten parent meeting will be 6 p.m. Aug. 3. For more information, call Melissa Pearman at 358-3506.

LCMS

Registration

LaRue County Middle School will have registration 10 a.m.-6 p.m. July 26 in the LCMS library. Incoming sixth graders will need a current physical and updated immunization certificate on file. Schedules will be given out after registration packet is completed. For more information, call 358-3196.
