At its regular meeting Sept. 21, the LaRue County School Board agreed to hire R.C. Riley as an insurance consultant for the district. He will be paid $2,500 retainer.
The consultant is to look over the district’s policies and make recommendations in an effort to consolidate or save money on premiums when possible.
Superintendent Sam Sanders recommended Riley, saying he consults in Hardin and Nelson counties.
