School board approves FFA trip

A Future Farmers of America trip to the national convention in Indianapolis made a last-minute appearance on the LaRue County School Board meeting agenda Monday night.

Superintendent Sam Sanders said a concerned parent who wasn’t completely comfortable with their child riding to the convention on a Greyhound bus contacted him.

Sanders said he “didn’t know anything about a Greyhound bus,” and when a search was done to find details of the approved field trip, he said there “was no record of the request.”
