LaRue County’s School Board heard a report from Amanda Reed, curriculum specialist, during the June 21 meeting.
The report shows LaRue County’s attendance rate has been consistently above the state rate which reached its highest rate in 2008-09 at 96.16. The district is also consistently below the state rate in retention (students repeating grades), with 0.91 percent in 2008-09.
