 Beef Cattle Association

The LaRue County Beef Cattle Association will offer two $1,000 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors. 

Applications are available at the LaRue County High School Guidance Counselor’s office and the LaRue County Extension office. Applications must be returned to the LaRue County Extension office by 4:30 p.m. April 19. Scholarship applications will be judged based on financial need, scholarship, and community service. 


Woman’s Club

The Hodgenville Woman’s Club will award a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior attending school in LaRue County or an adult residing in LaRue County who plans to enroll or is enrolled in college or technical school for the fall semester. 

Application will be considered on the basis of grade point average, financial need, community and school involvement and completion of a short essay describing career goals and need.

Applications are available at the LCHS guidance counselor’s office, The Lincoln Museum or Faye Puyear, Woman’s Club scholarship chairperson, at 358-4749.
Applications should be postmarked by April 26 and mailed to Faye Puyear, 108 Fairway Dr., Hodgenville, KY 42748.


Lincoln Museum 

Applications for the Edward E. and Thelma S. Ford Lincoln Museum Scholarship are available through the LCHS guidance counselor’s office or The Lincoln Museum. Deadline is 4 p.m. April 30. The $500 scholarship is available to a graduating high school senior or an individual continuing their education. For more information, call 270-358-3163.


Lincoln Days – open to any resident

Lincoln Days is awarding a $500 scholarship to any LaRue County resident planning to further their education at an accredited institution. Proof of enrollment will be required before scholarship will be awarded. Application and attachments must be received by 4 p.m. April 30. Return to Lincoln Days, P. O. Box 176, Hodgenville, KY 42748. Tri-County Car Club

A $500 auto-related scholarship will be awarded by the Tri-County Car Club based in Campbellsville. Those interested in the scholarship should send a letter of application no later than April 30 to the Tri-County Car Club in care of Stan McKinney, 1007 Deer Park, Campbellsville, KY  42718.

Applicants should include a transcript of their high school grades including their attendance records and a short statement as to why they wish to pursue an auto-related career. All applicants should also include a statement as to financial need.

The scholarship will be paid directly to an auto-related school, not the recipient of the scholarship. Thus, applicants must also include the name of the school they plan to attend and the date they plan to begin their program of study.

LaRue County Farm Bureau

LaRue County Farm Bureau is offering a scholarship to a Farm Bureau member or their child. 

Any graduating senior pursuing college, technical school or a college student with two years completion and pursuing an agricultural degree is eligible. Applications are available at LaRue County High School, the Farm Bureau office or kyfb.com. Applications must be returned by April 30 to the Farm Bureau office, 606 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville.
