Kentucky high school students may qualify for a scholarship to help pay for dual credit classes taken at a Kentucky college or university or for Advanced Placement (AP) courses taken through the Kentucky Virtual High School.
The Mary Jo Young Scholarship, named for a former member of the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), is available to Kentucky students in grades 9 through 12.
Priority is given to low-income students.
