This year’s 5th Region Tennis Tournament will lose one special treat.
Elizabethtown coach Karen Henson, the tournament’s director, said during Wednesday’s seeding/draw meeting at Elizabethtown that unlike in years past, students won’t have to miss school if the weather cooperates.
The tournament kicks off at 4:30 p.m. May 13, with first-round girls’ singles and doubles matches at Elizabethtown’s University Drive Park Tennis Courts. Boys’ first-round singles and doubles matches are set for 10 a.m. May 14.
