Recycling center closed through Tuesday

 The Renaissance Recycling Center, located on Water Street in Hodgenville, will be closed through Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Solid Waste Manager Jill Gray said there will be "no door service" available; however, recyclables can continue to be placed in the wall slots of the building.

If the bins become full, residents are requested to use the overflow trailers at the City Hall parking lot in Hodgenville.

"If they can hold off until Wednesday, that will help out a lot," said Gray.
